Acceptance of these terms

By using vidquiz.com or signing up for VidQuiz, you agree to these terms of service. If you are acting on behalf of a school, business or other organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What VidQuiz is

VidQuiz is a tool that reads the content of a video you provide and generates an interactive multiple-choice quiz from it, with answers and short explanations. You can take, edit, share and export the quizzes you create. VidQuiz generates questions automatically from the content you submit; you remain responsible for reviewing and editing every quiz before you use or share it.

Your right to use the videos you submit

You may only submit videos that you own or that you have the right to use for this purpose. By submitting a video link or video content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions and that generating a quiz from it does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights. You are solely responsible for the videos you submit and for your compliance with the terms of any platform the video is hosted on.

Accuracy and your responsibility for quizzes

VidQuiz generates questions automatically, and automated generation can be incomplete or wrong. We do not warrant that any question, answer or explanation is accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting and editing every quiz before you share it, use it for assessment, or rely on it in any way. VidQuiz is a tool to help you create quizzes faster, not a substitute for your own judgment.

Acceptable use

VidQuiz is intended for lawful, good-faith creation of quizzes from videos you have the right to use. You agree not to use the service to:

• Submit videos or content you do not have the right to use, or that are unlawful, infringing or harmful.
• Generate quizzes intended to deceive, harass, or facilitate cheating or academic dishonesty in violation of any institution's rules.
• Impersonate any person or organization, or submit false account information.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
• Resell or redistribute the service except under a written agreement with us.

Your content and data

As between you and us, you keep your rights to the content you submit, including the videos you provide and the quizzes you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service and generate, store and display your quizzes, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell your data or your video content, and we do not use them for anyone else's marketing.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep any credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or access has been used without your permission.

Plans, billing and refunds

VidQuiz is offered on paid plans. All prices and charges are in US dollars. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change our plans and prices, and we will give notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

Intellectual property

VidQuiz, including its software, interface, content and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. The names of other companies and products referenced on this site are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated questions, answers or explanations are accurate, complete or current, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying every quiz before using it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidQuiz and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or your reliance on any generated quiz. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Service availability

We work to keep VidQuiz available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend features to maintain and improve the service.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and cancel your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
