How do ClassMarker credits work?

One credit is used each time one of your tests or surveys is taken. ClassMarker is unusually generous about what that single credit includes: the result being saved, the result being emailed, the analytics, and the learner downloading a certificate all happen inside that one credit rather than being metered separately. Camera monitoring is the exception and uses 10 credits per attempt.

Credit packs sit on top of a Professional plan and are only drawn down once the monthly allowance runs out, which makes them a sensible buffer for a seasonal testing peak rather than a parallel subscription. They expire after 12 months, and any new purchase extends the expiry on what you already hold.
